Millefiori Factory

Millefiori is the most enduring of designs in hand-made glass. Meaning 'a thousand flowers', it originated in the Roman Empire. However, it was on the island of Murano, in Venice, that its modern form was created in the Middle Ages and today it is synonymous with glass paperweights. Millefiori Factory is a small studio run by 3 master craftsmen who are steeped in the Murano glass tradition.
